After decades of operating under Lamar Contractors and other affiliates, today we are simply Lamar. This evolution reflects our growth from fuel storage tanks into a regional builder — and now a national powerhouse capable of securing energy assets, restoring communities after disasters, and delivering complex commercial and historical landmarks.

Lamar was founded in 1982 with a simple belief: that honest work, strong relationships, and doing things the right way would always matter. Built on family values, the company began by serving local communities in Louisiana and grew through dedication, integrity, and a reputation for reliability.

As the years passed, we expanded to meet our clients' needs — commercial construction, disaster response and recovery, and critical infrastructure across the United States and its territories. Even as the scope of our work grew, our commitment to quality, safety, and accountability stayed the same.
